As an Administrative Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting the startup's operational needs while gaining hands-on experience in a growing company. Your primary focus will be on streamlining administrative processes, managing communication channels, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the team.


The primary focus for the student will be:

  • Conduct a full competitive landscape assessment; define our organization's brand and core value proposition; identify opportunities and threats facing our brand; assess where and how to improve our brand's presence and differentiate from our competitors.
  • Investigate our competitive landscape; perform market segmentation to identify the ideal target market.
  • Recommend changes to marketing strategy and PR materials
  • Create a prospect workflow, make recommendations on prospect messaging, and creating outreach contents.
  • Develop and implement an SEO strategy; provide content suggestions and recommendations to increase search visibility.
  • Conduct an audit of our current social media presence and/or other current communication channel(s).
  • Assist in managing internal and external communications, including email correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining contact lists.
  • Coordinate and document virtual meetings, ensuring agendas are prepared and minutes are accurately recorded.
  • Organize and maintain digital files, databases, and records for easy retrieval and efficiency.
  • Ensure accuracy in data entry tasks related to client information, project details, and other essential documents.
  • Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines, progress, and deliverables for various ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure that administrative tasks align with project goals and timelines.
  • Conduct research to support administrative and project-related tasks, providing insights and summaries to assist in decision-making.
  • Prepare and present reports on administrative activities, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions.


Deliverables

Our goal at the end of this experience is:

  • For the student(s) to help us gain a better understanding of our target market and ensure we are optimally positioned and our product and pricing aligns with our target sector/customer.
  • For the student(s) to help us effectively improve our brand's presence, and communicate our brand's story and mission to a broad audience.
  • For the student(s) to help us improve our online presence, reach more customers, and effectively promote our brand through compelling content.
  • For the student(s) to help us generate more traffic and revenue through search engines.
  • For the student to help us generate all appropriate reports needed to make key decisions and improve our startup finding, and increase customer base and revenue.
Mentorship

Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.


We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern(s) using these communication tools: (Riipen messaging, Company Teams channel, email)
